Registration is now open for the 16th annual Bowen Island Rotary Run! Join us on Saturday, August 29 for one of Bowen’s favourite community traditions, kicking off a full day of island celebration before Bowfest.
Whether you’re racing for a personal best, walking with friends, or joining as a family, there is something for everyone. The Kids Run (ages 9 and under) starts at the ferry dock at 8:45 am with a new shorter 1K course designed to be fun and accessible for all young runners. The 5K Run, 10K Run, and 5K Walk begin at 9:15 am.
Walkers are warmly welcomed, and each year more participants join the 5K walking community. Want an extra challenge? See if you can beat Charles McNeill, winner of last year’s unofficial walkers’ contest!
Families can take advantage of our $75 family rate, which allows up to five family members to participate together. Create a team name, dress up, and enjoy the prizes, treats, and community spirit that make this event so special.
